Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
This policy explains what happens to personal information you send through this website. Opio Oluka is the data controller for that information.
What I collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, and optionally your telephone or WhatsApp number, organisation or business, your preferred contact method, and any details you add about your training or website enquiry.
For security, a one-way encoded version of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string are stored alongside the enquiry. These are used to prevent spam and abuse, and the IP address itself is not kept in readable form.
Why I collect it
To read and reply to your enquiry, and to discuss the service you asked about. That is the only purpose. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send, together with the consent you give when submitting the form.
Who sees it
Only me. Your details are never sold, rented or shared for marketing. Enquiries are stored in a secured database hosted by my website infrastructure provider, which processes the data on my behalf and does not use it for its own purposes.
How long it's kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of work discussed or carried out, and are deleted when no longer required.
Your rights
- Ask what personal information I hold about you
- Ask me to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask me to delete your details
- Object to how your details are used
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)
To exercise any of these, use the contact form on this website.
